Being affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi, VVPS follows the CBSE board pattern and the NCERT curriculum for all classes.The VVPS system of education uses efficient and interactive methods which incorporate new technology such as smart classes for teaching the students.

The maxim of 'learning by doing' is kept on priority, so the teachers use play way as well innovative methods of teaching. Classes I-VIII follow the NCERT curriculum whereas class IX follows the NCERT textbooks. VVPS has adopted the latest CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation System) pattern introduced by the HRD ministry.

The school has facilities for all CBSE practicals and activities. The school adheres to all the CBSE rules and guidelines. The school is a pioneer in promoting various activities, competitions and examinations conducted by the CBSE as well as different schools.

Experiential learning forms the backbone of the teaching-learning process in classes I to V. It uses an interesting mix of diagrams, graphical representations, charts and models, produced by both teachers and students, to create an engaging atmosphere. This hands-on methodology is supplemented by time-to-time visits to Language, Math and Junior Science laboratories, and supported by traditional classroom transaction to offer a variety of learning opportunities to the students.

Haddow Report UK 1931.Education, at VVPS, is also imparted through visits to museums, conduct of workshops, seminars and educational tours, where students get first-hand knowledge.

Besides, the school has a fully equipped computer laboratory. The well-furnished and rich Library, the Yoga Room, Dance Room, Instrumental and Vocal Music Rooms, Sports and Judo Coaching Room, Art and Craft room further serve to provide an all-round exposure to the students. Students have the opportunity to strengthen their interest in any field of their choice.

Co-scholastic or extra-curricular activities are conducted throughout the year. There is something for every student, with every bent of mind, to try his or her hand at, beginning with Handwriting (both Hindi and English) and including Kshloka-reciting (Sanskrit), Cyber quiz, Debate, Dance, Best-out-of-Waste, and so on. Names and dates of competitions are highlighted in the school calendar so that the students get ample time to prepare themselves. Teachers, too, are always at hand to assist with their expertise.

As far as evaluation or assessment is concerned, it is done in accordance with the CBSE guidelines, issued from time to time.
